How to Hear from God

Leader: Su-won Hadj-amar
Location: Online only

Time: Saturday 5:30 pm EST
Class code: SUM-HTH

God speaks to us, offering His guidance and love every day. But how often are we able to hear His voice?

The purpose of this class is to encourage you to develop a deeper relationship with God, feel his presence and learn to tune into His voice. Jesus said “My sheep hear My voice”, promising that we would hear Him clearly. In this class we will learn the importance of developing the habit of setting aside regular time for fellowship with the Lord and to develop a special sensitivity to the many different ways He speaks to us.

We will also experience a two-way-journaling prayer, by following the 4 keys to hear God’s voice, based on Habakkuk 2:1-2.

When we look at the Bible, we realize how God spoke directly to the prophets. They could hear His voice clearly, and had a back-and-forth conversation with Him. I believe that the time is ripe that everyone can reach that same level of relationship with God!

The True Jesus

Leader: Alan Feldsott
Location: Online only

Time: Sunday 4:30 pm EST
Class code: SUM-TTJ

“Who do you say that I am?”
Uttered by Jesus Christ, this profound question has presented an age-old challenge to believers, skeptics, scholars, and rulers.

In attempting to answer this question, “The True Jesus” goes straight to the unimpeachable source: the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We will come face-to-face with the Son of God, whose sublime teachings, miraculous actions, and divine essence leap off every page and into our hearts.

In this book, David Limbaugh, brother of Rush Limbaugh, examines the four Gospel stories to more deeply understand the unique nature of the man who was both fully human and fully divine. My class is open to those who are new Bible readers, as well as long-time believers. I am looking forward to going on this exciting journey together with you.
